Sometimes we refer customers to visit a board certified doctor, dermatologist or trichologist. We are retailers of hair products, and though we have a knowledge base we are NOT medical professionals and will not give advice we are not equipped to properly diagnose. We are responsible merchants.
Many hair concerns are a result of bad hair habits, dietary deficiencies , underlying health conditions, or even genetics. Some of these can never be managed or “cured” by topical products. You may need more invasive treatments. E.g. “Doctor prescribed” supplements, blood work assessment, diet overhaul, hair transplant, platelet infusions etc.
We would only mislead you if we prescribe a magical hair oil when you have alopecia and the hair follicles are dead. Same way we would not recommend some DIY home treatments like rice water or egg masks because we know better from thorough research.
Also please be weary of products that claim to “grow” hair in a finger’s snap. They are all gimmicks and most products only stimulate blood flow and nutrients to the affected areas in the hope the follicle is healthy and this is what actually stimulates growth.
Nonetheless, when we refer you to visit a board certified doctor, dermatologist or a trichologist please do not feel bummed, trust us and please schedule an appointment. There you are able to receive a comprehensive check up, proper diagnosis and treatment from qualified professionals with years of experience.
Please do make a conscious effort to take care of your body from inside out first before relying heavily on products.
